We have been in business since 1988, after Daren Bernhardt worked for a local mom and pop fishing retailer that has since went out of business. After attending some fishing shows for the retailer, he decided to make harnesses and package blades from his home for his own business.
We have been attending several local fishing shows for many years (Pontiac Silverdome's Boat, Sport & Fishing Show; The Palace of Auburn Hills' Detroit Sportfishing & Travel Show; Lansing Center's Sportfishing Boat & Travel Show; Grand Rapids' Grand Center Sport, Fishing & Travel Show; Ford Field's Boat, Sport & Fishing Show; the Flint Steelheaders Fishing Show at Birch Run; the Ultimate Fishing Show at the Novi Expo Center; the Ultimate Sport & RV Show in Grand Rapids at Devos Place; the Boat, Sport and Travel Show in Indianapolis at the Indiana State Fairgorunds; and the Ultimate Fishing Show at the Rock Financial Showplace) and plan to continue going. We will keep you informed of what shows we will be attending for next year below.
Our bug blade has won tournaments - a salmon tournament and a husband/wife walleye tournament.

We have started selling reverse hex blades.
